Starting over

Quitting social media and focusing on what matters.

Those of you who know me or have interacted with me might have noticed that I’ve pretty much closed down all of my social media pages. During the last month or so, I’ve been struggling with a guilty conscience about not being present enough online - which, upon reflection, seems like a silly thing to feel bad about. I managed to push myself into a corner where I lost focus on what mattered and instead tried to keep up with an ever-increasing demand for content, engagement, and interaction.

I decided I would clear out my head and remove all the noise that social media brings with it. And I can already feel the benefits of this decision in my daily life. I’m more focused, I’m more present, and I’m more engaged in the things that matter to me. I’m not saying that social media is bad, but it’s not for me right now. I might return in the future, but for now, I’m happy with my decision. I’ll post here on my blog when I have something meaningful to say; otherwise, I’m going to focus on what matters to me.

You are, of course, always welcome to reach out to me via email. I’m always happy to hear from you.

Thank you for understanding.
